Timber and flooring business Jordan increases turnover 17/07/13
In the 2012 financial year the flooring and timber retail business W. & L. Jordan was able to increase its turnover significantly to €292m. According to the business report for the last financial year, turnover in 2011 amounted to €249.3m, of which €244.3m was generated in Germany and €4.9m in other European countries. For 2013 Jordan is planning a further turnover increase to €317m. As already in 2011, in 2012 the timber trade business division – at a rate of 9.2% - recorded a more significant increase in turnover than the flooring trade division at a rate of 6.1%. In 2011 as well as in 2012 Jordan was thus positioned above average in the sector, as far as the timber trade as well as flooring trade were concerned. In 2011 the result from ordinary activities amounted to €8.8m, the annual surplus amounted to €5.8m.
